Kharosa caves are situated in the Kharosa village at about the distance of 45 kms from Latur city which is at the Latur district, Maharashtra, India. Kharosa caves were built around the time of 6th century during the Gupta period. There are total 12 beautiful caves at Kharosa out of which one has an image of seated Jain Tirthankaras. The beautiful sculptures of Narasimha, Kartikeya, Shiva Parvati and Ravana are the other prime attractions at the Kharosa caves. Renuka Devi’s temple is also available in one of the caves.

How to Reach Kharosa Caves by Road:
Private and Government run buses are available to reach the Kharosa caves, from Latur. A few taxis are also available and Auto Rikshaws and six seaters are available as well to travel within and around the city. If one wishes to go by car, then car can go up to the caves.
How to Reach Kharosa Caves by Train:
The nearest and comparatively more connected railway station to the Kharosa caves is the Latur Railway station, which is on the Latur Miraj rail route. It is at about the distance of 45 kms from Latur on Latur Nilanga Road via Ausa-Lamjana. Ausaroad Railway Station Junction is a more nearer railway station located at 3 kms distance but this is not as connected as the Latur railway station with the other cities in Maharashtra.

The nearest airport to the Kharosa caves is the Latur Airport. Latur airport is at a distance of 3 kms from Kharosa Caves. If one wishes to come by flight, then he or she has to fly to Latur which is connected to the other major cities in the Maharashtra like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur etc. From Latur, private as well as Government run buses are available to reach to Kharosa Caves.
