I am Bhandardara, a serene and magnificent village holiday resort on the western coast of India. Geographically I am located in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra and at a distance of 185km from Mumbai. I sit by the Pravara River and lay down a picturesque landscape of mountains, lush green forest and waterfalls and lakes that charms everyone visiting me with a pristinely tranquil ambiance.




Located on the Sahyadri hills, I am still one of the lesser known hill stations in Maharashtra and I have well maintained my charm and natural beauty since time eternal and I am still as beautiful as ever. Once you visit Bhandardara hill station you can also pay a visit to few other tourist locations using me as your base camp. If you are a true nature lover, you are certainly going to enjoy every single moment we spend in each others company. In spite of my position on the hills, you will not think that I am cool during the summer months and you better meet me between Octobers to February. During that time of the year, I, Bhandardara hill station am all about green mountains set against a background of clear blue sky and dazzling lakes and waterfalls adding to my beauty.

Nashik is city located nearest to me while the nearest railway station is Igatpuri, only at a distance of around 45 km. I am most charming but the narrow hilly roads that will take you in my lap wants you to be cautious while driving and once you reach me it is all about unpolluted natural beauty and pure serenity all around.

Bhandardara Hill Stations in Maharashtra is located near to Mumbai and Nasik city and it is very popular among tourists from this city especially in monsoon. As it is lesser known hill station it is less crowded but Bhandardara tourism is getting more popular in youngsters and it will be the prime destination for them in future. Bhandardara in monsoon is very overwhelming and one can enjoy waterfalls and green mountains here. As it is located nearer to major cities, Bhandardara is most popular weekend getaways near Mumbai and Nasik.



Best time to Visit Bhandardara

The best time to visit Bhandardara is from August to December when tourists can experience the greenery here. Summer is quite hot here so it is not recommended to visit Bhandardara in summer i.e. especially in March, April and May month.

Weather in Bhandardara

Bhandardara is situated at a height of 750 m above sea level. Even Bhandardara is considered as a Hill Station, it is hot in summers. The temperature in summer is going up to 35 degree Celsius but nights are pleasantly cold in summer. Bhandardara experience heavy rainfall in Monsoon and the temperature level is at 28 degree Celsius. The best time to visit Bhandardara is in the winter season when the temperature is in the range of 10-20 degree Celsius.

    Bhandardara is a best hill station I have ever visited. It turns most beautiful in monsoon. In monsoon we can enjoy the greenery, waterfalls everywhere. Superb place.
