Varsoli is one of the best beaches in Maharashtra and is located near to the Alibaug town. The beach is famous for the different types of water sports including Banana ride, scooter ride, Paragliding, etc and it is quite good for fun and to spend your quality time.

There are sports activities available for both, adults as well as children. The Varsoli beach is around 2 km long stretched beach and is less crowded.

Visitors may enjoy the white sand and clean water at the beach. There are many coconuts and other types of trees available on the beach.

How to Reach Varsoli Beach by Road

Since Varsoli Beach is located near to Alibaug, it is quite easy to reach Varsoli Beach via Alibaug. Alibaug is on the Mumbai Goa National Highway; that means at around the distance of 108 km from Mumbai.

You may get private tour operators having daily trip services that they conduct in between Alibaug and Mumbai. There are buses available that run in between Mumbai and Alibaug as well.

Alibaug can also be reached by Mumbai to Mandwa ferry which departs from Gateway of India and reaches Mandwa Jetty within an hour.

The nearest railway station to Alibaug and hence to the Varsoli Beach is “Pen”, which is located at around 30 km distance from Alibaug. It is connected to Panvel through Pen and then to Mumbai and also to the Indian Railways Network.

The closest airport to the Alibaug and thus to the Varsoli Beach is Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai which is situated at the distance of around 100 km from the center of Alibaug, India.
