Alibaug Beach is the main and attractive beach in the town. Even though the beach remains crowdie many times, this is one of the best beaches in the Maharashtra. This is the place where you can get sandy beach, fresh air, awesome view of Kulaba fort and a large number of coconut trees.
Murud Janjira is a wonderful fort situated at coastal village of Murud. The roots of the fort are completely in the water. There are boat facilities available to reach to the fort from the coast. The fort has many attractive places to see once you enter it.
Kashib beach is also a wonderful beach located at around 30 kms from Alibaug and 135 kms from Mumbai. Kashid beach is a famous beach since it is blessed with the beauty of white sand, blue sea water, beautiful trees, green mountains etc.
Situated very near to Alibaug, at around the distance of 12 kms; Kihim Beach is famous for the thick cover of coconut trees it possesses. There are different types of birds, plants, flowers, butterflies and hence the place is loved by the visitors.
Mandwa beach is located at about 20 kms from the Alibaug. It is a superb beach and is famous since there are bungalows of many bollywood celebrities. The beach is a quiet and calm place and if you want to spend a quality time then this is the perfect place for you.
Located at just 2 kms away from the Kihim beach on left and at 8 kms away from the Mandwa Beach, Awas beach is a very nice beach near to Varsoli. Nagoba Mandir is a famous place on the Awas Beach.
Akashi Beach is located at a distance of about 5 kms from the Alibaug S.T Depot. Visitors get to see Alibaug beach and Kulaba fort from the Aakshi beach. The beach is a pollution free, clean, calm and quiet place and hence it is loved and preferred by the visitors.
