How to Reach Lavasa by Road
Reaching Lavasa hill station by road is extremely easy as the city has its own bus stand and is directly connected with most of the major cities in Maharashtra.
Pune is only at a distance of 22km and can be easily reached in less than half an hour’s time. Mumbai is at a distance of 193km and can be easily reached in less than 4 hours travel by Mumbai – Pune expressway.

Various deluxe buses from Mumbai to Lavasa are easily available or tourists will find that cabs and rental cars are also available. The distance of Watunde Bus Stand is only 20km from the city and apart from buses and cabs, auto-rickshaws are also available.
How to Reach Lavasa from Mumbai: To travel from Mumbai to Lavasa head towards Panvel and travel through Mumbai Pune Expressway till Pimpri-Chinchwad. Take a right turn from Dange Chowk Road and head towards Pirangut – Gadewadi – Ambegaon – Mutha – Kharwade – Kolawade – Temghar and reach Lavasa hill station.
How to Reach Lavasa from Nashik: To travel from Nashik to Lavasa head towards Sinnar – Sangamner – Alephata – Manchar – Rajgurunagar – Chakan – Pimpri-Chinchwad and use above route to reach Lavasa hill station.
How to Reach Lavasa from Pune: To travel from Pune to Lavasa head towards Kothrud – Bhukum – Gadewadi – Ambegaon – Temghar – Dasave and reach Lavasa hill station.
How to Reach Lavasa by Train
Lavasa hill city has no rail station and the best way of reaching Lavasa is Lonavala railway station which is at a distance of only 29km for the city. The station is on the main railway line between Mumbai and Pune and has many trains from almost every part of the country. From Lonavala buses and rental taxis are easily available.
Alternatively one can also reach Pune by train and then travel to Lavasa by road.
How to Reach Lavasa by Air
Pune airport from Lohegaon, 65km from Lavasa is the nearest domestic airport and from there buses and taxis for Lavasa are frequently available.
