Shani shinganapur is a village located at Maharashtra,India; at around 35 km from the Ahmednagar city. The village is popular as the place of Lord Shani, the god of planet Saturn (Shani). It is said that Lord Shani is very strict and he punishes every person once in his life for the wrong things done but awards as well for the good work.
Another feature of the Shinganapur village is that not a single house has doors but only the door frames. The people in the village believe that no thief can do anything at the powerful place of Lord Shani.
Shani Temple:
The specialty of the Lord Shanidev’s place is that there are no long queues and people don’t have to wait for the darshan of Swayambhu statue of Shanidev, unlike other temples. A unique feature is that there is no temple structure for the idol of Lord Shanidev and the black statue is standing on just a simple platform. Devotees can offer Puja and abhishek on Saturdays and Mondays on the tradition that a devotee needs to take a head bath and should go to the lord Shanidev’s platform in wet clothes. Men devotees are allowed up to the Shanidev’s main platform where women are not allowed to mountain that platform.
There are some famous places to see near Shani Shinganapur Temple and Shinganapur village. Besides the idol of Shanidev, there are temples of Goddess Laxmi. The famous Samadhi of Sant Shri Udasi Baba is also there in front of these temples and three unknown samadhis as well. There is a temple of Shri Dattatraya on the east direction of the Shanidev’s idol.

Shirdi:
At around 70 km from Shani Shinganapur, Shirdi is situated which is the famous place of Shri Sai Baba. Saibaba has spent most of him life in Shirdi Village. Millions of visitors daily visit Shirdi temple to take blessings from Sai Baba.
Sakori:
At about 69 km northwest of Shingnapur, Sakori is located and is renowned for its Upasani Kanyakumari Sthan. The place has a lot of positive energy and can be felt by anyone.
Ajanta and Ellora Caves:
The Ajanta and Ellora caves are considered as the greatest historical monument in the Maharashtra, India; which are located at about 79 km southwest from Shinganapur.
Nashik:
At around 143 km from the Shani Shinganapur, Nashik city is positioned and is famous for its religious culture. There are many places to see in the Nashik city; some of which include Muktidham, Pandavleni Caves, Sula Vineyards, Kalaram Temple, Naroshankar Temple, Sundarnarayan Temple, Shri Kailas Math etc.
