The Holy Pilgrimage to Shirdi Saibaba Temple

I, Shirdi Temple was the home to a popular spiritual guru Sai baba. I was home to Sai in the 19th century. Currently, I am home to more than 29000 people. But since I am a pilgrimage place, Shirdi Saibaba Temple have a large number of visitors every year.




My population comprise of 53 % males and rest 47 % are females. On an average, I have 25,000 visitors visiting me every day from all parts of India.

Devotees come to Shirdi Sai Baba Temple with full faith and feel blessed to have visited me. I am located in Ahmednagar district, in Maharashtra. I am also believed to be one of the richest temples in India. Shirdi Sai baba is considered as a big Lord especially in Southern India. My exact location is 185 km east of the west coast line.

I, Shirdi Temple am considered as one of the most popular pilgrimage destination of India. I am about 122 kms from Nashik city. One of the reasons of my popularity is that Sai Baba preached tolerance towards all the religions and he believed that all religions are the same. So, people from different castes and religions visit me without any hesitation.

From nearby locations like Mumbai, Pune, Nashik  many group of Devotees conduct padayatras to Shirdi. They keep walking around 30-40 KMs per day and reach at my temple in around 3 to 12 days. 

Shirdi Sai Baba is widely known as a child of God. Religious people often visit me at least once in a year. I am flooded with tourists all the year round. I have a huge floating population of people who are devotees. Uneducated people immigrate often to find jobs, which is why my population is constantly increasing.
