Trimbakeshwar (Trambakeshwar) is a famous place as an ancient Hindu temple of Lord Shiva. It is located at the Trimbak Town, Nashik District, Maharashtra, India. It is just a 28 km distance from the Nashik city.

Tryambakeshwar Temple:

People visit Trimbakeshwar with great veneration because Trimbakeshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The temple is located at the source of the Godavari River. People visit Trimbakeshwar to vanish some of the life doshas like Pitru dosha or Narayan Nagbali. Some devotees come here to do Mahamrityunjay Jaap/Anushthan for the fast recovery from illness, during or after surgery, and also for some meditation, massage, etc. Mahamrityunjay Mantra is the most powerful mantra among all the Sanskrit mantras.

Gorakhnath Gufa, Trimbakeshwar:

Gorakhnath Gufa is the renowned fissure or cave and is located on the ascending side of the Brahmagiri Hills. The cave has beautiful carvings. Many people offer their prayers at this cave to get free from their sins. The location of the Gorakhnath Gufa is near to the Goddess Ganga’s temple.

Brahmagiri Hill, Trimbakeshwar:

Located at the trambak, Brahmagiri Hill is one of the greatest attractions to the Trimbakeshwar visitors. At the hill, Kumbh Mela is held after every 12 years. The place is ideal for tracking as well in the monsoon. You will find beautiful waterfalls and eye-catching luxuriant greeneries as well; at the hills.

Kedareshwar Temple, Trimbakeshwar:

The temple is dedicated to the Lord Kedareshwar Mahadeva. The temple is located in the pictorial locale of Kushavarta. The temple and the cave are built and structured in a traditional way.

Neel Parvat, Trimbakeshwar:

Situated on the eastern elevation of the Brahmagiri hills and near the main Trimbakeshwar temple, Neel Parvat is also one of the wonderful places to see near Trimbakeshwar. The Parvat is 300-350 steps to climb. You don’t have to make much effort to locate the place since it is very easy to locate.

Vehicles are not allowed here. The scenery view is the main attraction of the Neel Parvat at the time of Sunset. When you climb up the Parvat, you get to see the whole Trimbakeshwar from the top. It gives you an amazing feeling.

Ram Laxman Tirtha:

Ram Laxman Tirtha is located just a few steps down the Gorakhnath Gufa. It is believed that Lord Ram spent a few days at this tirtha to do some veneration or shraddha for his father Maharaj Dashrath. The place has the temple of Lord Ram.

Godavari River:

The Godavari River flows through Trimbakeshwar, and you can enjoy a peaceful walk along its banks or even take a boat ride, especially during the monsoon season when the river is in full flow.

Panchavati, Nashik:

Panchavati in Nashik is about 28 kilometers from Trimbak and is associated with the exile of Lord Rama. Key attractions in Panchavati include Sita Gumpha, Kalaram Temple, and Ramkund.

Saptashrungi Devi Temple:

Situated in Vani, approximately 50 kilometers from Trimbakeshwar, this temple is dedicated to the goddess Saptashrungi. It’s a significant pilgrimage site and offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

These attractions provide a blend of religious and natural experiences, making Trimbakeshwar and its surroundings a well-rounded destination for travelers and pilgrims alike.

    Tryambakeshwar temple is great architecture of India. It makes us think how those people have build such great temple. Its a must see place for everyone.

    Really its nice temple to visit and its a holy temple to visit.
    Instead of spending time in Nasik(except Sitha Devi Guha and Kaala Ram Mandir) its better we spend more time in Triambakeswar…..
