How to Reach Kashid Beach by Road
Road access to the beach from Mumbai is extremely good and if traveled via Vashi and Navi Mumbai, it is a distance of 160km from Mumbai, 135km from Thane, 110km from Navi Mumbai, and 170km from Pune if traveled via Munshi or around 170-180km if traveled via Khopoli – Mumbai – Pune Expressway.
MTDC buses plying between Mumbai Central and Murud halt at Kashid and it can also be reached by buses those play between Aligurg and Mumbai or Thane.
How to Reach Kashid Beach from Mumbai:
To reach Kashid Beach from Mumbai head towards Panvel – Pen – Vadkhal – Poynad and reach Alibaug from Khandale. From Alibaug to Kashid Beach travel towards Nagaon Beach – Revdanda – Salav – Korlai – Borli – Surai and reach Kashid beach via Revdanda Murud road.
How to Reach Kashid Beach from Pune:
To reach Kashid Beach from Pune head towards Khopoli via Mumbai Pune expressway. From Khopoli travel towards Paned – Sapoli – Vadkhal. From Vadkhal use the above route to reach Alibagh, Nagaon, and Kashid beach.
How to Reach Kashid Beach by Train
Kashid Beach does not have a train station, and the nearest station is Panvel, at a distance of 64km from Kashid. Trivandrum Central- H. Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express, H. Nizamuddin-Trivandrum Central Rajdhani Express, Kerala Sampark Kranti Express are some of the trains those halt at Panvel.
Tourists traveling from Mumbai can board trains like Mumbai CST – Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Express, Mandovi Express, Konkan Kanya Express, Pragati Super Fast Express or Mumbai CST-Mangalore Junction Express to reach Panvel and the instance between Mumbai and Panvel by rail is only 31km from where buses and taxis to Kashid Beach are easily available.
Panvel is a local railway station for Harbor and Trans-Harbor railway and many local trains commute through this line.
How to Reach Kashid Beach by Ferry
The ferry route from Mumbai can save huge time while traveling to Kashid beach. Mumbai to Mandwa ferry is suitable for those who are staying in the heart of Mumbai city. You can catch the ferry from Gateway of India and reach Mandwa Jetty within an hour which is saving around 3 hours. From Mandwa you can hire a private cab to reach Kashid beach.
