Vengurla is a beautiful place that can be found en route Goa. It’s a taluka located in the southern part of Maharashtra with a fort at the southern end called the Terekhol fort. This place is a tourist attraction and a lot of Domestic and International tourists visit this place.
Vengurla is also known to be a paradise for people that love watching birds. A rocky island is an amazing place for a quiet time with family and friends. This place is around 500km from Mumbai and one can travel either by road or train. Kudal is the nearest train station and Dabholim airport being the only airport in Goa to reach the destination.
Bhogave Beach
Bhogve beach is located in the Malvanregion and is around 9 to 11 km from Malvan. This is a beautiful and very clean beach and is known to have beautiful waves and white sand.
The facilities are the beach are fishing and boating. This beach is a beauty because if you have nature best fish’s here one of them being the Dolphins. It’s just amazing to see these Dolphins in the transparent blue waters.
Kille Nivati Beach
This is actually a fort called Kille Nivati which was constructed by Shivaji. One can see the Bhogave Beach when you stand at this fort. This place is known for its local cuisine. This fort is surrounded by rocks on all the side and it’s beautiful to see when the sea waves come and hit the rocks to create a huge splash. Fishing is their main occupation here.
Velangar Beach Shiroda
This is a beautiful beach with lots of coconut trees and Cashew Trees. It’s surrounded by a lot of greenery. The hallmark of this place is the blue waters and a cool sea breeze.
Redi Beach
This beach is very clean and rocky in nature. There are a lot of hamlets.
Khavane Beach
This beach is in its natural beauty with absolutely clean blue waters. This beach is surrounded by a hilly area.
Mochemad Creak
This is a creek and one shouldn’t miss taking the coastal highway bridge on this backwater. Mochemad creek and backwater is splendid in nature. The mountains and hills are around 200 ft. high. Cyprus trees form the coastline of Mochemad Creek.
Sagar Rest House: This is a government-owned guest house which is situated just below the lighthouse. At this location once can view the beautiful Arabian Sea.
Kondura Beach
Kondura beach is very beautiful in nature. It is an absolutely clean beach located in Vayangari Village.
Terekhol Fort
This one of the most places to see at Vengurla Beach, a fort situated on the Northside of the Terekhol River. This was built by the king of Sawantwadi. There is a small church situated in the middle of it. This church is generally not open for the public to visit. This is a tourist hotel situated in the fort as well.
