Dhodap fort is a one-day trek attraction among the tourists. The trek is rated as a medium trek and it takes around 3-4 hours to reach the top of the fort. At Dhodap fort there are many places to see on your way to the trek.
Caves at Dhodap fort
There are many small and big caves located on the way to the fort. Some of these caves are built in ancient times.
Water Tanks
There are many water tanks available on the fort which were served as a drink and utility water for the people staying on the fort in the historical period. The main source of the water at these tanks is rain. During monsoon, these tanks were overflowing and the water was sufficient for the entire year.
Temples on the fort
There is an old temple of Jagdamba Goddess in the fort. Along with Jagdamba Devi, Lord Hanuman’s idol is also present at the temple.
From the top of the fort, tourists can see the peak of Saptashringi Devi. Further, as Nashik is an ancient city you can explore many ancient and historical places in Nashik.
