Located only at a distance of 2km from the world heritage site of the Eellora caves Grishneshwar is the last of the Dwadasa Jyortilingas – the 12 most sacred abodes of Lord Shiva. The temple is located in a village called Verul, which is at a distance of around 20 km from Daulatabad and 29km from Aurangabad.
