The population of tigers is being threatened very day. They may soon become extinct, so this is high time that you go and visit them and may be help government to preserve their population.

I, Tadoba National Park am a very big and famous national park in Maharashtra. I am situated in Chandrapur district. Tadoba National Park name came from the name of the tribal god God “Tadoba” or “Taru.” Local villagers worship him. Chimur hills stretched over my territory and there are several myths and legends associated with my name of Tadoba Tiger Reserve.

I am an official reserve of royal Bengal tiger; this magnificent species is only seen in India. But there are other species available here like  leopards, small Civet, jungle cats, sambar, spotted deer, sloth bears, gaur, nilgai, dhole, striped hyena,  barking deer, chital, and chausingha.

If you are an animal lover and want to see them up-close, it is advisable to take a trained tour guide. This way you will know where to go if you want to see animals. There are varieties of birds and butterfly in Tadoba National Park forests. Tourists are advised to take safari trips though there are government and private accommodation available. I, Tadoba National Park is well connected by train, bus, and car. So, come, visit me!
