I, Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary am located in the Yawal Tehsil of Jalgaon District, Maharashtra and an excellent wildlife habitat located on the western Satpura Hills. Similar to the Melghat tiger reserve also located in this part of the country, I have southern tropical dry deciduous forests with extensive forest areas on the outskirts and have a viable tiger population.
Yawal National Park is spread over the area of about 178 square kilometers. I am situated around 25 km from Raver railway station on the banks of Anner and Manjal rivers. My forests are typically dominated by Teak, Salai and Anjan trees. When you visit Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary, you will also find a wide variety of plants like Ain, Shisam, Haldu, Tiwas, Khair, Charoli and Tendu all over me. There are also dense growths of bamboo and grasses in different parts of the forest of Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary.
I also boast of an exceptional wildlife that brings nature-loving tourists and wildlife photographers from all over the world to visit Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary. Apart from the tiger, my animal population contains Leopard, Hyena, Jackal, Fox, Wolf, Sambar, Chinkara, Nilgai, Wild boar, Barking deer, Jungle cat, Palm Civet, Wild dog Sloth bear and Flying Squirrel. You can also sight different varieties of grassland birds and hill birds in different parts of Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary forests. Tiger and flying squirrel are among the most attractive animals found in Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary.
Apart from such a diverse range of flora and fauna I also offer my visitors a chance to soak themselves amidst my landscape of incomparable beauty. Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary is a perfect gateway for people to spend a few days amidst the stunning natural beauty and an amazing wildlife.

Best Season to Visit Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary
The best season to visit Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary is from January to May. Avoid visiting the sanctuary in the rainy season.
Weather in Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary
Yawal National Park experiences a heavy rainfall during monsoon hence it is recommended not to visit in rainy months, i.e. June, July, August and September. Winter starts from November and the temperature here in winter is in the range of 20°C to 28°C. Winter and summer is the best time to visit Yawal National Park as the weather is nice at this time. In summer maximum temperature goes to 35°C.
As a resident of Jalgaon district Yawal wildlife sanctuary is our perfect destination. The sunset here is amazing.

Few recommended correction-
1) There should be a comma between wild dog and sloth bear.
2) Correct the spelling of bear in sloth bear. It’s not beer!

How much km it is and which is the best hotel to stay
To the best of my exploratory finding, one should start from Bhusaval in the morning, by own vehicle. Road conditions are not known. Forest Dept. does have a Rest House which must be basic. Carry own supplies and be prepared to sleep in vehicle for the night, worst comes to worst.
If couple of enthusiasts r ready, we can plan a trip from 8.1.19 for a day or two ex. Bhusaval, unless somebody has better idea.
